General farm information: We started our fruit and vegetable gardens in 2011. Bruce gets the most out of the gardens by utilizing succession planting. Every inch of the garden is planted at all times. Cool weather crops are planted again in the fall to be enjoyed again, weather permitting! From seed to share, everything is grown on the farm, nothing is purchased and repackaged.
All of our produce is hand picked and everything we sell is grown on our farm.
Our call to quality: We believe in taking the utmost care regarding food safety and quality. Certified-organic pesticides, all-natural compost and organic matter are used throughout the growing season as needed to help control pests, disease and improve soil health. We do not use conventional pesticides. Both open-pollinated heirloom and hybrid seeds are used on the farm. GMO seeds and plants are not used.
How our fruits and vegetables are grown?
The Edible Landscapes farm practices organic growing and maintenance methods. This is the final year of transitioning into becoming certified organic and we plan to be certified before the 2018 growing season.
